A mood board created for someone who is more into a relaxed yet sophisticated bohemian natural style. Going more towards lighter colors, natural materials and use of biophilic design within a living space. Created to be suitable for someone who enjoys entertaining but would like to have a more minimalistic style and approach to their living space. Even though a majority of the textile materials are in a lighter color, they are easy to clean and durable fabrics (perfect for someone who entertains and/or has children or pets.) Used CB2's catalog to inspire every selection from the mood board. Looking into Option 1, allows for more use of a natural wood material for storage space within the room. Option 2 plays more into a minimalistic and simplistic take on a storage space. Has more accessible spaces used for display rather than storage.
Designer Favorites:
+LOVE the coffee table. (Has a rotating mechanism built in that make it great for entertaining. Providing a chic and modern version to a Lazy Susan. Also a fun way to display the piece, or hide unwanted storage.)
+Prefer option 2. (Even though option 1 would provide a beautiful chance to display that wooden material, option 2 allows a fun way to display the clients personal belongings. The open shelf also somewhat mimics the open shelf in the coffee table.)
+The contrast in materials. (Majority of the softer materials are a light color while majority of the furniture pieces are in wood. Playing along with this minimalistic and soft natural feel that the client requested.)
